Martin Weinhold

Martin Weinhold 05 small V2
Studied Communication in Social and Economic Contexts at the University of the Arts in Berlin. In his degree dissertation (equivalent to an extended MA) he elaborated on theories about the individuality in portrait photography. For many years he was working as a cameraman for various German tv channels before he fully commited his life to photography. He is an experienced lecturer and instructor for photography and visual media. As a professional photographer his main expertise is in the fields of portrait, product still-life and documentations for industrial companies. Since recently Weinhold is also working as a commissioned text author.

Artistically Weinhold has dedicated his life to documentary photography. His focus is particularly on social documentaries and on the contextualized portrait.
